I assume that the male plot is simply incomplete, although this didn't seem to be stated anywhere. Also, it's a bit difficult to figure out who the various characters are and how one is allowed to interact with them. Finally, I solved the riddle (if solving the anagram was all that I was supposed to do...) but my answer wasn't accepted.
Why rush to put out a half-working game? I think most people would more readily forgive the extra time you'd spend debugging than the proliferation of bugs here.
Author's Response:
maybe u didn't solve the riddle correctly because if u solve all three riddles, u can interact with liam... *shrugs*
as for the garrick version, it does say it's coming in 2007, when in 2007 i didn't say, and u are correct, it is not done. as for proliferation of bugs, i don't agree with that

There are some pretty severe problems. First, in the original version, the muncher walked from square to square instead of blipping, and a lot of the feeling of the game involved running from the different kinds of monsters. It's just silly now.
Second, I couldn't see all the numbers very clearly -- I ate a "30" because I thought it said "80" -- so I'd suggest you use a bold font.
Author's Response:
well, on my screen resolution (1024x768, which is fairly small) all the numbers are quite clear. secondly, i did try to impliment an actual movement from square to square, but since the scripting for that felt the need to glitch itself to oblivion, i removed it in favor of a working model.
if those were the only problems, did my game really warrant a 1? i mean, couldnt you come up with something lower, as to make this seem ALL about your issues.

Whatever you're using to read the keystrokes is building up a huge backlog so that the game lags several seconds behind the keyboard. At that was at low quality. Fix it.
Author's Response:
^^ get a better computer, or simply click the "x" or "page" and it shouldn't lag.

"Probably the best claymation I've seen here"
That was considerably higher-quality that most of the claymation that shows up here. in particular, the resolution was decent, I didn't see any obvious skips, there were no hands visible in the picture, and nobody was trying to voice the characters with their mouth directly up to the microphone.
That said, it was still just random acts of violence...
Author's Response:
Wow thanks man.
I worked for about a month and a half on a 36.2 second claymation.
Well... I did do it in small parts.

On the harder difficulty levels, at least 75% of your time is spent with no green balls and no shockwaves, so you do nothing but wait for a shockwave star to show up for a very long time. It's like playing snake with no apples on the screen -- boring! I got to 600 points on insane and gave up because every single thing on the screen was a red ball and nothing changed for over a minute.
Author's Response:
And you vote badly because of that? Its called insane because your suppost to be godly to beat it.

"What Did That Have To Do With Ender's Game?"
Umm, that was basically defender combined with a scrolling space shooter. I can't remember anything involving dodging asteroids or aliens trying to blow up the earth in that book. And by "I can't remember" I mean it wasn't in there.
Author's Response:
I'm new to this whole programming games thing, so I just wanted to keep it simple. The assignment didn't have to entirely relate to Ender's Game, but along the line of science fiction. Sorry if I was vague about that.

The animation was okay, the narration didn't work and didn't sound to good, and I didn't like the story. Nice Bach prelude at the end, though.
Author's Response:
You said the narration didn't work. Don't know if you meant technically or otherwise. I know that technically I am having problems with the syncing (one some people's machines). If your problem is with the actual content, animation, etc...sorry to waste your 1.5 minutes. But thanks for watching and reviewing!

You need to fix your sound code; in the mode with the sound enabled, the game lags after each bounce sound completes. The same problem can be seen in the opening credits. Also, the "personal best" function doesn't work, nor does the "visit the site" function, but I guess you must have known that already. The game's okay with sound disabled.
Author's Response:
The Personal Best Wont Work Unless Your Actually playing It From My Site, Thats Why It Has Visit The Site There, Its Supposed To Mean, `Visit The Site If You Want To Use This` It Aint A Link. As For The Sound Code, It Seems To Work Fine For Me, Must Just Depend On The Sorta Computer You Have.
